If you’re new here and haven’t checked out The Radiant Look’s (TRL) about page yet, in a quick nutshell, TRL is about all things faith, fashion, and beauty.
I’m so excited to bring back the website and, quite frankly, I’m getting a little emotional! When I started the original blog fashion meets God in 2013, it was a space that became a collection of styled outfits, beauty tutorials, and how a life with Jesus is so worthwhile- both through the mountaintops and valleys. Those 6 years opened up so many doors of opportunities in both the spiritual and secular settings. I also got to meet and interview other women of style and faith all over the world and connect with so many of you online! Although fmG’s website had a hiatus for the last year (and another year I’m dubbing as “the lost year” – more on that later) it feels great to be back on a “.com” and envision the possibilities of TRL with you all.
Can I be honest though?
Although there’s nothing wrong with sharing fashion tips and makeup products (surely TRL will dabble into those) my desire for TRL is to go beyond the full outfit looks, monthly favorites, and product reviews. I’m challenging us to go much deeper than that.
We’ll be unpacking what true beauty is and why our inner appearance is- dare I say- much more important than our outer appearance.
Yeah, definitely not your average fashion/beauty/lifestyle blog.
But hey, we’re not just pretty faces here. And our identities are found in something much more than our shoe, handbag, and makeup collection.
